How To Fix Minecraft Launcher Installer Not Working


While Minecraft is compatible with all kinds of devices but some people have preference to play the game on a PC which allows you to access both the Bedrock and Java versions of the game. Before you can play the games you'll need to first install them onto your hard drive. If you're having difficulty getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work, here are some suggestions to resolve the issue.



Sign out and check the date time, location, and the region



If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we recommend first restarting your computer and sign out, then logging back into the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, depending on which one you are using to access the launcher. Now that all versions of Minecraft are on Game Pass, you can try to install the launcher through this app. To sign out, click on your profile icon at the upper right corner of the window and then sign out.



Also, make sure your date and time are correctly displayed on your computer. If they aren't, right-click on the date and time in lower right-hand corner of your screen and select Adjust date/time. Scroll to the bottom and click Windows Store Apps.

If the troubleshooting doesn't work, we suggest that you reset your store. Click on the search bar next to the Start button and type in wsreset. A black box will appear when you click on the Run command entry. Do not move anything until the black box disappears and the store is opened again.
